What features make the Vidyut well-suited for FPV flying?
The Vidyut comes equipped with a low-latency video transmitter that minimises lag and optimises the FPV flight experience. It also has a durable frame and high-performance motors specially tuned for responsive FPV manoeuvres.
Vidyut drones camera comes in what resolution?
Vidyut comes in 2 variations that are, Analog and Digital drone. The company also offers Drone kits which have Vidyut drone, Remote controller, Battery, Chargers, FPV Goggle and extra accessories. Analog drone only and Analog drone kit, offers 810p resolution. The other, Digital drone only and Digital drone kit have resolutions of 1080p/4k. The camera captures crisp, fluid footage perfect for FPV racing, freestyle stunts and sharing FPV perspective shots.
What safety precautions are available for FPV flight?
Safety features like the Vidyut’s GPS hold mode, and Return to Home feature provides the safety cushion needed for the FPV drones and the cinewhoop frame help to ensure safe FPV flights for FPV pilots.
What is the maximum speed I can fly the Vidyut FPV drone at?
The Vidyut can reach thrilling top speeds of 180+ kmph, ideal for adrenaline-pumping FPV flights. The cinewhoop frame maintains stability and handling even at peak velocities.
Does this drone work with my existing FPV goggles?
The Vidyut’s analog video transmitter is compatible with analog goggles only and digital video transmitter with digital goggles. The compatibility depends on camera quality.
Does the Vidyut require registration and pilot licence?
Yes, since the takeoff weight is above 250 grams, the Vidyut will require registration with India's Digital Sky licensing framework for legal operation whereas pilots based on their application of the drone can apply for licence, if used for commercial purpose, it requires pilot licence.
What is the flight time for the Vidyut?
The Vidyut provides over 10 minutes of flight time for analog drone only and its kit. The digital drone and its kit gives a flight time of over 20 minutes, allowing for longer FPV sessions and more filming opportunities.
How far can I fly the Vidyut drone in FPV mode?
You can fly the Vidyut analog model up to 1 km away and digital model up to 2 kms away, while maintaining a clear FPV video feed thanks to its long-range video transmission capabilities.
What kind of warranty coverage does the Vidyut offer against crashes?
The Vidyut kit comes with a one drone crash warranty valid up to 6 months, so you get free repairs or replacement if there is damage from a single crash during use.
