On February 29, 2024, a Pakistan-owned drone flew in the Jammu district of India. Spotted by Mr. Bhagwan Dass, a civilian of the Jammu district, spotted it flying over his farm. He immediately reported it to the military service nearby. He won a cheque of ₹ 3 lakhs and a cash prize of ₹50,000 by the security forces.
Along with this, in June 2024, two Pakistani drones by Indian Security forces, were captured on the Indian-Pakistan Border in Punjab. The drones were identified as DJI Mavic 3, controlled by pilots from pakistan. The drones were shot down and were seized by the forces in India.
